I saw FoldTables at the Newham Outdoor Events Show last year and was immediately impressed by the convenience of folding picnic tables. I hired 50 for the London City Airport Fun Day which I ran this year on 7 July. They arrived on one truck stacked in easily removable pallets and were rapidly unloaded and assembled.

Throughout the afternoon they were all packed to capacity and provided a solid platform for many people from which to watch our Air Show and enjoy the many different foods we had available.

At the Event close the truck re-appeared, the tables were re-folded and packed back on the pallets and the whole lot removed in about 20 minutes.

My initial view of this superb product was borne out in practice and I would not now use any other kind of picnic table for my events. The manufacturers are to be congratulated on a superb and infinitely practical design.

We hired 160 FoldTables for the Healthy Eating Area at the recent T in the Park Festival in Kinross-shire.

The tables arrived all neatly packed together on a cleverly designed and easy to unload stillages.

Our team soon had them unpacked and distributed around the site. Their claim to have 8-seats in eight seconds has certainly not been exaggerated!

The tables were packed with our guests throughout the three days and the tables withstood this continual use without any problems whatsoever.

When it came to pack them away, we noticed no damage and they were back on their stillages, almost as quickly as they had been laid out.

It is most important to offer guests somewhere nice to sit whilst they eat their food and, naturally, these seating arrangements have be able to stand up the rigours of a modern music festival.

The FoldTable is a first class product, and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to fellow event organisers, indeed I have already ordered another quantity of FoldTables for my next event, the V Festival in August.

I hope that the FoldTable is a success in the awards – it certainly deserves to be!
